Three times in the Song of Songs we read, “Do not arouse or awaken love [sexual love] until it so desires” (2:7; 3:5, 8:4). This is a statement about chastity – encompassing more than just abstaining from premarital sex, but not less than. The naked truth is that from a biblical perspective, it is impossible to defend sex outside of marriage. So the question becomes, how does one live a life of chastity? This teaching explores the multi-faceted, complicated reality of living a life of chastity, and seeks to be incredibly practical when it comes to dealing with this topic in a helpful, redemptive, non-shame-filled-way.
