On October 12, we’re beginning the Make Your Mark series at Central Wesleyan. To kick off the series, we’re having a Book Signing Party this Wednesday, October 8 from 6-8:30 PM in our Main Lobby (Central is located at 446 W. 40th St, Holland, MI 49423).
When you’ve published a book, you receive numerous requests to sign them. I get it. If I know the author and I buy their book, I enjoy having them sign it as well. But my desire is for the Sundays of this series to be about the Word of God and our privilege to worship Him, not about a book or the person who wrote it. Thus, I won’t be sitting at a table and signing books on Sundays. So this is a way to provide our people with an opportunity to get their books signed and to extend an invitation to the larger community to be part of this event. So anyone and everyone is welcomed to attend this event!
Here’s the really exciting news! We’re doing this in partnership with Baker Book House, and through their involvement, we’re thrilled to be making the book available for only $8 (well below the $15 retail price).
Furthermore, there will be FREE cookies, lemonade, water, etc. And as far as coffee and other warm drinks are concerned, Gathering Grounds (our coffee and food shop) will be open and fully staffed.
I won’t be doing any kind of talk, but will simply be signing books throughout the evening and chatting with people. So feel free to come anytime between 6-8:30 PM.
