We all have blind spots in our lives. Sometimes we’re able to identify them ourselves. Other times, friends, family, or co-workers bring them to our attention. Irrespective of how they’re revealed, once identified the goal is to get at the root issue. This is precisely what Jesus addresses in Matthew 5 of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus was always going after the root cause. We must seek to do the same thing, and then respond appropriately.
