Episode 024 – Fully Present (Put Down the Cell Phone)
Key Passage(s): Exodus 24:12
How often are we “there,” but not really “there?” How often are we distracted and not fully present in the moments we find ourselves in? What does that do to us, and particularly to those who become collateral damage in our inability to be present? This is what this teaching addresses as we look at a fascinating passage in Exodus 24 and seek to apply it to the various aspects of our lives, especially in our addiction (err, usage) of our cell phones.

Wonderful teaching on being present! Thank you.
You’re welcome, Robbie.
Wow! Very sobering. I knew I had a tech problem but never imagined how detrimental it can be to my relationship with my kids. Starting today, putting a restriction on it and going to be present for them. Thank you Brad!!!
Yes, sobering indeed (for us all)!
Great wake up call! A social problem that’s simply overlooked, especially by the younger generation.
Yep.
Your videos just get better and better with each installment Brad. The tie in to “be there” from biblical to technology was flawless. I am mesmerized by your processes Brad. I pray for you always. Thank you for all that you do. God bless.
I bless God for your comments, Steve.
Thanks Brad, great message. Even before you started talking about the tech (which can be problems at times), the Lord convicted me about being fully present when I do devotions. I have had a few days recently where I’m reading just to read and get it done, and not to “be here” with the Lord. It’s a great wake up call to pay attention and drive out the competition in whatever form that is.
That it is indeed. Thanks for sharing, Jacob.
It’s funny you did a video about cell phones. This is something I’m working on with my boys. Their constant engaged in their video games or YouTube. I definitely agree with putting down the cell phone and be fully aware of our surroundings. Another great teaching.
Appreciate the comments, Tru.
