Feet For The Path

One of the most fascinating creatures on the planet is the Nubian Ibex, a deer found in the rocky deserts of the Middle East, and gifted with a cloven hoof that can adapt instantaneously to any terrain. David coined a phrase (and Habakkuk borrowed it) based on this creature’s abilities to describe what God does for His people. In this teaching, we learn to pray our heart’s desire, but when things don’t unfold the way we desire, we learn to ask for feet for the path, because if we have feet like the ibex, we can navigate whatever path life throws our way.
