Episode 132 – The Journey Pt 5: Goal is to Roll

Key Passage(s): Psalm 37:5

The Hebrew language of Psalm 37:5 offers an interesting visual for how we’re meant to live our lives. It says, “Roll onto the LORD your path, trust on him, and he will act.” The problem is most of us try to walk God’s path our way. We prefer our comforts, decisions, and preferences to determine how we walk, but that’s not what the Psalm is inviting us into. In this episode, we’ll explore what it looks like to relinquish our own comforts so that God’s path shapes ours and not the other way around.

Discussion Questions

  • What was your biggest takeaway from the teaching?
  • What does it usually look like when you try to walk God’s path your way?
  • Because allowing God’s path to shape how we walk requires sensitivity, what are some of the comforts, conveniences, and personal preferences that diminish your sensitivity to God’s intentions for your life?
  • Finish this sentence: Yes, walking God’s way might mean moving more slowly and experiencing discomfort, but I’d rather __________________.
  • How will you begin living out the truths of this teaching this week?

SO APPREICATE WHAT YOU BRING TO THE RELIGIOUS PLATE EVEN IF IT PUTS YOU AT ODDS WITH DENOMINATIONAL TEACHINGS. WE NEED THIS!
So where I am now the path or way has to be TORAH minus the blood ordinances as there is no other given us from scripture. So why do we fear using the word TORAH?
    ie;
Bring up a child in the …way…TORAH and when they are old they will not depart from it?
There is a …way.. that seemeth right unto persons but the end is death…self designed righteousness excluding TORAH?
    I am ..the way….TORAH
    The truth…TORAH
and the Light…TORAH seems appropriate from the mouth of YASHUA!
In the beginning was the WORD…TORAH
And the WORD, TORAH was with YEHOVAH..
And the WORD TORAH was YEHOVAH…
B’reischith in Gen, and since John was Jewish he wouda, in the Hebrew used the same word to direct hears back to Gen 1?
    HMMMMMMMMM!
the proof…YEHOVAH keeps showing up in this IN MY JOURNEY LIFE!
WITHOUT THE TORAH THERE IS NO OTHER PATH YEHOVAH HAS GIVEN DEUT 28 LAST PART.
