Episode 152 – David and Goliath Pt 1: Guard Your Shephelah

David and Goliath is a story we all know. But like all stories that stand the test of time, there’s more to it than we fully understand. Before we go any further, we need to look at the original context of this beloved Bible story. We begin by carefully examining the geography of the event, and understanding the location alone yields a whole new level of insight. By the end of this episode, you’ll have a new appreciation for the urgency of the David and Goliath story, and a helpful metaphor for guarding your heart and mind in our world today.

L-O-V-E this context of geography here. How you tied it together at the end, with Guard our Shephelah was very moving. Very deep. Thanks for bringing the story of David and Goliath into such focus.
On a side note, the “orange swipe” segue is distracting, unnecessary.

So grateful you enjoyed this episode! And we pulled the “orange swipes” from Pt 3 and Pt 4 (Pt 2 had already been released). Thanks!
