Bearing With One Another In Humility
In a world where people often test our limits, many of us struggle with how to respond when others frustrate, offend, or simply wear us down. The apostle Paul understood this well, which is why he commanded Jesus followers in Ephesians 4:2 and Colossians 3:13 to “bear with one another.” This “bearing” is an amplified form of patience that goes beyond tolerance to enduring others with humility, gentleness, and love. At the root of our impatience is often pride—an inflated sense of self that creates hidden gaps in how we view others and ourselves. These gaps are toxic to our soul and lethal to our relationships. This teaching explores how to close the gaps in our lives to become more patient, gracious, and grounded in love toward others.
