The Bible Breathes

In 2 Timothy 3, Paul asserts that all Scripture is God-breathed. It’s living. It’s dynamic. It’s infinitely more authoritative than anything written or spoken in human history. But what does this mean? How is it alive and what does it do in our lives? This teaching explores the compelling and adventurous nature of Scripture, discussing the life-giving benefits of devoting ourselves to the reading and study of it, and encouraging us to be disciplined in our approach. Often times, we desire to implement change in our lives, such as reading the Bible on a regular basis, but we struggle to do so. More often than not, it’s not a lack of desire. It’s a lack of direction. Therefore, this teaching concludes with a helpful strategy to make Scripture reading (or anything we desire) become an active part of our lives.
