Damascus Road Encounter
Key Passage(s): Acts 9:1-19
The Apostle Paul is arguably the greatest missionary and theologian in the history of the church. His writings account for nearly half of the New Testament. But he wasn’t always passionate for Jesus. In fact, he originally thought Jesus was a false messiah, and that his movement deserved to be eliminated violently. But all of that changed on the road to Damascus. It’s a stunning story that many of us know well, but perhaps we don’t know it as well as we think. And when you see what’s there, you’ll not only gain a better understanding of how Jesus was pursuing Paul, but you’ll be challenged to see how Jesus may be pursuing you this Christmas season. And it’s a pursuit you don’t want to miss.
