Change Your Clothes
Paul uses clothing as a metaphor for the qualities and behaviors in our lives. Since our clothing must fit our context, there are certain clothes that we need to shed and other clothes that we need to put on. But moving from anger to patience isn’t as simple as taking off a shirt and putting on another one. Sometimes we must act like what we’re not in order to become what we need to be, because as Heath Ledger’s tragic death taught us, we become what we act.
