Grace Upon Grace

For many, there is a tension between “the Law of Moses” and “the grace of Jesus.” As if Jesus came to cancel the Law. But John talks about both the Law and Jesus being forms of grace in John 1. What in the world was John getting at with a statement like this? Well, in order to understand John’s point, we must first understand the grace of the Law (Torah) and how Jesus took the words of the Law (Torah) and embodied them in his own life. In seeing how Jesus moved the word to flesh, we too can learn how to live grace upon grace.
